TGIF - Get buzzed yoga style! Come celebrate the end of your week with two creative, energizing hatha classes covering all the groups of yoga postures. These classes are good for all levels. Warning: You just may need a designated driver afterwards.

Yoga For Your Core

Don't neglect your abs! Learn the role a strong core plays in your entire yoga practice. Discover how to correctly use your core in your everyday yoga postures. Improve your overall core strength to help manage back issues, improve your posture, and prevent injuries. We often cringe at the idea of intense ab work, but the strength that is created from a consistent practice is well worth the effort! Join Kim for a fun, energized practice of focused core conditioning and abdominal awareness.
Restore: Yoga as Therapy

You've worked hard - end your weekend crawl with some R&R. Get a taste for how yoga can be used as therapy. Gentle yoga poses will be taught for those recovering from an injury or illness, or simply for those looking for something less intense. Learn meditation and breathing techniques to improve your sleep, reduce stress levels, help with depression, increase your lung capacity, and improve your overall wellbeing.
Iyengar-based Yoga
Yoga for Health, Sunday, May 1st, 1-3pm (www.yogaforhealthcalgary.com)
After a weekend of crawling, we're keeping it simple. Learn the key alignment points for each group of yoga postures (standing, sitting, forward bends, inversions, and backbends). Knowing the basics will help you in your advanced postures, some of which will be covered in this workshop. The final session in our crawl is a wonderful chance to get to know Kim and her teaching style.
Registration will be CAPPED AT 15 STUDENTS so register today to avoid having someone else take your spot!
$100 for the entire crawl (3 workshops - SAVE $22!)
